Hari Lingkungan Hidup, Bukit Asam (PTBA) menggelar acara Green School ke 10 Sekolah Dasar
admin 20 Jun 2024 61 Tanjung Enim.Suarasriwijaya88.com.- PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) menggelar acara Green School ke 10 sekolah dasar di sekitar wilayah operasi perusahaan pada 12-13 Juni 2024. Green School merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan PTBA dalam rangka memperingati Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia.
Acara Green School terdiri dari Kelas Inspirasi yang mendorong para pelajar untuk mencintai lingkungan hidup, serta Kelas Penghijauan yang mengajak para pelajar bersama-sama menanam pohon. Sebanyak 108 relawan dari PTBA dan mitra kerja dilibatkan dalam acara Green School.
VP Pengelolaan Lingkungan & Penunjang Tambang PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Bapak Amarudin mengatakan “bahwa PTBA memiliki visi menjadi perusahaan energi kelas dunia yang peduli lingkungan, pihaknya turut mendukung pencapaian target Net Zero Emission (emisi karbon netral) yang ditetapkan Pemerintah pada 2060 atau sebelumnya”.
Edukasi yang diberikan melalui Green School diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepedulian para pelajar sekolah dasar terhadap lingkungan hidup.
“PTBA berharap dapat memberikan manfaat positif untuk lingkungan hidup. Kita sudah mulai bergerak ke era Net Zero Emission. Jadi kita mulai dari hal yang kecil, seperti menanam pohon yang bisa menyerap emisi,” ujar Amarudin.
Salah satu relawan yang ikut dalam acara Green School, Dody Sukoco, berharap edukasi ini memberi inspirasi kepada para pelajar sekolah dasar untuk turut menjaga serta melestarikan lingkungan hidup.
“Alhamdullilah turut senang karena kegiatan berjalan lancar. Mudah-mudahan bisa memberikan inspirasi positif pada adik-adik sehingga dapat lebih peduli lagi terhadap lingkungan sekitar,” katanya.
Tak hanya Green School, PTBA mengadakan sejumlah kegiatan dalam rangka Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia 2024. Di antaranya adalah aksi bersih-bersih sungai, penanaman pohon, lari lintas alam, hingga pemilihan Duta Lingkungan.( Rls/ Red )
